Harry Brook & Son Ltd. was established in 1946, shortly after Harry Brook finished serving in the second world war.
Harry carried out small domestic plastering and roofing jobs initially, using a hand cart as a means of transport.
The business quickly flourished and Harry soon employed a small workforce to help out. He began contracting to various local builders, as well as working for his established regular customers.
In 1955 Harry’s son Victor became involved with the business and, in 1961, it was incorporated as a limited company.
The business continued to expand and by the mid sixties employed up to seventy operatives undertaking large scale contracts throughout the north of England.
Since 1999 the company has been managed by a third generation of the Brook family, Iain, who has a dedicated team of employees and contractors undertaking plastering work for housing developments, local authority contracts and builders plastering requirements throughout Yorkshire and further afield.
We carry out all types of plastering work and are a member of the Federation of Master Builders (FMB No. 16157).
